Designed by Archeo Venice and curated by B. David Levine. Presenting the 602 Lamp by Archeo Venice, a masterpiece of meticulous technological research and homage to the Fortuny Museum. Archeo Venice Design has ingeniously recreated several objects from the museum, ensuring their longevity while preserving their original beauty. Notably, the Mariano Fortuny lamps, originally crafted in silk, have been reimagined in exquisite Murano glass by Archeo Venice Design. This innovative adaptation enhances their illumination capabilities while retaining their form, charm, and delicate decoration. The 602 Lamp boasts a voltage range of 220 – 110, accommodates 1 x E27 – E26 bulb with a maximum wattage of 150, and features a diameter of 47.25 inches, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal.Special interest has been directed toward the Mariano Fortuny lamps which were originally conceived in silk. Archeo Venice Design has now produced these lamps from Murano glass; a material that lends itself to better lightening yet maintains the form, the charm and the delicated decoration intact. The innovative use of Murano glass allows these objects to fulfill the function.
