Presented by Franco Parentini, owner of Vetrerie di Empoli, it modernizes that particular swirl of wine poured into the glass and the hand that turns delicately to impart the rotational movement used to analyze it. A small metal ball between the top of the stem and the base of the bowl lets the holder rotate the contents of the glass with a single, light spin of the thumb, permitting a better assessment of its color and consistency, intensity and taste.
